England reach Euro 2024 knockout stages with dramatic late winner
Bellingham strike secures victory against Slovakia
England qualified for the knockout stages of Euro 2024 with a dramatic 2-1 victory against Slovakia in Gelsenkirchen on Tuesday night.
Jude Bellingham scored an exquisite injury-time goal to hand England a lifeline after they had trailed for much of the game.
Slovakia had taken the lead through Robert Mak in the 25th minute, and England were struggling to find a way back into the game. However, Bukayo Saka equalised in the 75th minute to give England hope.
And Bellingham's late winner sent England through to the next round, where they will face either Spain or Italy.
